Overview

Kèr J̼osukēhàldà was founded durring the late 11th century, by Cúńch Cō̋mp̪f̄ 'Lexi Lena' Coī̋mp̪f̄ Rä̋ch Vúnḱ Jenney. The establishment of Kèr J̼osukēhàldà was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Kèr J̼osukēhàldà's construction back out of the project. Cúńch Cō̋mp̪f̄ 'Lexi Lena' Coī̋mp̪f̄ Rä̋ch Vúnḱ Jenney pushed on reguardles, and Kèr J̼osukēhàldà was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Kèr J̼osukēhàldà was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the late 11th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Kèr J̼osukēhàldà is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Kèr J̼osukēhàldà is buildings folow an organic layout of premissive baked earthen streets whihch gives the town a shape simmilar to a tree, if one views its streets from above. The town is the proud owner of a thick set of fortified walls fashioned from querried stone blocks. While not up to snuff for a fort or castle wall, the town's walls are naturaly much larger than those of forts or castles. Therefore, the construction such a wall is most expencive. Kèr J̼osukēhàldà's buget focused wall would serve its community well in battle in spite of looking unimpressive compared to castles and fortresses. Astonishigly, the top tier civilian fortifications are in pristine condishion, as if they had just been finished before you laied eyes upon them.

A quick look in any direction shows Kèr J̼osukēhàldà is filled with vices. There are many taverns, brothels are advertising their services on the streets, cardsharks are plying their illicit trade within public squairs, and every shop has at least three signs advertising various sales on goods. That alone wouldn’t be too noticeable, if it wasn’t just so omnipresent and overwhelmingly how the people of this town live. Or if the general public wasn’t so enthusiastically, openly, and merrily participating in these activities.

Points of Interest

Kèr J̼osukēhàldà is remarkably well-fortified for a site of its size and role. Tall, stout walls, strong points inside the community, concentric defenses, a strategic terrain location, or a large body of standing troops might be present. Some threat is thought to exist that makes maintaining this fortification worthwhile, though it may come at a dear cost to the locals. The community’s suzerain may be uncomfortable with these defenses, as they could just as easily be used to defy the ruler.
